Before You Begin

A rift in Antonica, three flight unlocks, a level gate halfway through, and two crafting interludes.

The water will kill you. Most "water" in this expansion deals damage, and water-breathing of every kind - Totem of the Otter, racials, class spells - does not work here. Crafters in W.H.E.R.E. form or low-level players die very fast; even with high resists you can drown. Test the edge before you wade in.

Facing Avarice

Start: Lady Najena, Antonica  -2084, 5, 117

  • Click the violent rift next to Najena and choose the Gerion, Hold of D'Lere [Signature] instance.
  • Explore Gerion:
    • At Gaoler's Overlook  207, 0, 273 kill a Lucanic Gaoler.
    • At Deathdrinker's Ledge  339, 0, 58 kill a Gerion deathdrinker.
  • After Lucan's monologue, use the Thyr Summoning Stone to summon Lady Najena.
  • Wait for the escape update, then take the portal that appears behind Najena to leave Gerion.

On the Brink of Oblivion

Start: Tiadra, Darou Village  559, 92, -668 (grab the free For the Greater Good gear on arrival)

  • Examine the "hijacked portal" you came through  564, 94, -698.
  • Speak with the Darou around the village:
    • Tiadra  559, 92, -668, Jarkun  548, 94, -696, and Hannan  538, 94, -688.
  • Examine the Cimmerott Runic Ward  405, 80, -598.
  • Kill the attacking ravaging warpwolf, then 8 more around The Gnarls  311, 73, -580, just outside the village.
  • Return to Tiadra.

Yon Gorroth · Rot Reek Bog · Crafting gate

Truth and Darou

Start: Tiadra  559, 92, -668  ·  needs level-10 crafting + 50 Formless Coal

  • Kill 12 bog gnashers in Rot Reek Bog for their tongues  -231, 19, -330 (more down at Bog'ta Beach  -539, 0, -240).
  • Return to Darou Village. Teleporting back won't advance it - you must use a village entrance, e.g.  313, 73, -582.
  • Kill 4 attacking ebonblights and knightbloods at the edge of the village.
  • Return to Tiadra and Duusain; receive the Runic Rejuvenation Wand recipe and scribe it (level-10 crafting).
  • Gather the wand parts around  -231, 19, -330:
    • Hunt 9 bog wisps for fetid embers (loot 2 at a time).
    • Gather 9 cementum from Cementoblasts  -245, 20, -321 (trackable).
    • Hunt 6 toxic veilblooms for veilbloom pollen (not a guaranteed drop).
  • Craft the Runic Rejuvenation Wand at the tempered netherforge crucible  497, 82, -645 (uses 50 Formless Coal).
  • Use the wand to rejuvenate the three inert cimmerott runic wards:
    • Ward Fid  404, 80, -600, ward Roh  401, 73, -474, ward Keh  537, 76, -483.
  • Return to Tiadra.

Distant Wastes and Dark Places

Start: Lady Najena  561, 94, -681  ·  completing this enables flight in Yon Gorroth

  • Speak to Lady Najena nearby  561, 94, -681.
  • Investigate the Darou–nightblood link by completing Focus Elsewhere, Gnarls Gone Wild, and Highland Anxiety.
  • Speak to Tomian Keeneye in Darou Village  435, 81, -578.
  • Search for nightblood and ebonblight signs near the Void obelisk in Writher Ruins  -640, 2, 424 (use Kith to teleport there).
  • Examine an item in the empty camp, then click the cocoon  -620, -1, 460 - you are knocked unconscious.
  • Speak with Tomian Keeneye beside you by the Yon Gorroth Obelisk when you come to.
  • Search the Skur'rax Spires for the cocooned obelisk keyholder  429, 63, 500 - you need a special blade to cut it.
    • From Muurak by the obelisk  -602, 1, 460 take Wards With Friends and Skur'rax and Stones; the latter rewards the Refined Oblivionite Dagger.
  • Cut open the cocoon with the dagger and search the keyholder's corpse for the Void Obelisk Key.
  • Return to Lady Najena in Darou Village  561, 94, -681.

On to Oogothl

Start: Lady Najena  561, 94, -681

  • Use the Void Obelisk  -645, -1, 437 to enter Oogothl Sprawl.
  • Speak to Tomian Keeneye, then to Uglah.
  • Gather 3 containers of goods at the obelisk  127, 65, -497 and bring them to Sturg  222, 80, -191 in the Gardens of Industry.
  • Finish by talking to Sturg.
    • Begin the next quest from Tomian Keeneye, now at  232, 80, -214.

Oogothl Sprawl · Tentacle Fields

Sprawl Intents and Purposes

Start: Tomian Keeneye  231, 80, -213

  • Obtain 13 aberrant ebondust by hunting void reapers in Oogothl Necropolis  452, 39, -438.
  • Return to Tomian Keeneye  231, 80, -213, then speak with Nanru  260, 77, -128.
  • Gather lightthirsty valerian (little yellow flowers) in the Tentacle Fields  421, 36, 59 and around.
  • Return to Tomian, then speak with Nanru again.
  • Obtain the Mechanimagica Vasculum - a chest beside Xhol'Rog  -263, 39, 588:
    • The chest is only visible after you finish Expendables for Tentacles (Nanru), then Eye for an Eye, Rage Against the Machines, and Temple of the Ver'Bohten Eye (Xhol'Rog). Click the chest for the update.
  • Return to the Tentacle Fields  364, 36, 267 and gather 12 more lightthirsty valerian.
  • Return to Tomian Keeneye at the Gardens of Industry.
    • Before the line continues, finish Nanru's Following a Sprawling Trail, Tools for Success, and Rays the Roost.

Oogothl Sprawl · Zon Zobboz

Who's Zobboz?

Start: Nanru  260, 77, -128 (requires Nanru's Rays the Roost; you receive a Voidwell Vial)

  • Use the portal  -434, 83, 52 in Oogothl Sprawl to zone into Zon Zobboz.
  • Enter Zon Zobboz: The Graftwerk (Solo) via the left portal  128, 12, 820.
  • Fill the Voidwell Vial: kill 14 Scrykin on the second island (after the second named), then use the vial on the vistaar prana wisps they leave behind. Once you have 14 you can evac out.
  • Speak with Tomian Keeneye  231, 80, -214 back at the Gardens of Industry.
  • Re-enter Zon Zobboz (same portal  -434, 83, 52) and take the right teleporter  2, 15, 816 into Zon Zobboz: The Chimeric Chain (Solo).
  • Collect 10 cimmerott runes (yemi, gara, seq, theng, hirc, voma, yuru, olunt, dokt, thiet) across the islands:
    • The seq, voma, dokt, thiet runes drop from non-aggro many-eyed snappers / Nullites; kill Lord Shomp  -253, 15, 911 (disperse his voidstream storm cloud by touching or right-click → Scatter).
    • Loot Eyes of an Inkubus from inkubus mobs - equip it to see the xaephian fugitives that drop the theng and yuru runes.
    • Kill Vadrak the Vile  -422, 11, 849 (move behind him for his frontal assault), Xigothid  -800, 104, 598, and Kur'Granox  -791, 48, 215 for runes nearby.
    • Finally kill Mozal  -568, 9, -15 (click the omni-focus pillars to weaken him), then leave via the Chimeric Chain portal  -537, 10, -59.
  • Return to Tomian Keeneye  231, 80, -214 at the Gardens of Industry.

Don't stand in the pink water. The "Zobboz Ichor" deals damage and can one-shot you while you fight. Several of these islands also have knockbacks over lethal water - keep your footing.

Yon Gorroth → Oogothl · The Netherforge

Netherforged Challenge

Start: Tomian Keeneye  231, 80, -213  ·  needs level-10 crafting + ~100 Formless Coal

  • Borrow Tiadra's netherforge crucible in Yon Gorroth  497, 82, -645 (hop over via the Oogothl Obelisk  134, 65, -514, then Kith to the city). Buy 100 Formless Coal from Splanos  496, 82, -639.
  • Return toward Tomian via the Yon Gorroth Obelisk  -643, -1, 448 → Oogothl  231, 80, -213 - but he's gone.
  • Search for a clue  207, 79, -188 and click the eyeblight to revive it; follow it to  -294, 87, -165.
  • Find Tomian in the Eerie Ridges  -331, 98, -219; kill the oculus taskdriver  -322, 94, -254, then rescue and speak with Tomian - he gives the Cimmerott Runic Ward recipe and a components bundle.
  • Place the netherforge crucible  -669, 187, -366, scribe the recipe, unpack the materials, and craft 10 Cimmerott Runic Wards (each full combine makes 5).
  • Catch up to Tomian at the Oogothl Obelisk  131, 66, -515.
  • Return to Lady Najena in Yon Gorroth  561, 94, -682.

Gerion, Hold of D'LereFlight: Oogothl

Keep Calm and Gerion

Start: Lady Najena  562, 94, -681  ·  requires level 132 to enter Gerion

  • Use the portal behind Najena to the Gerion quest hub, then the northern portal  1, 1, -133 into Gerion: Ark of Ascension (Solo).
  • Place 3 cimmerott runic wards in the Ark:
    • Southwest Kill Kraal  142, 1, -298; Triforium of Servitude  -148, 23, -448 (after Nazkun dies); the Dismal Stage  1, 0, -586 (after Xelha Nevagon dies).
  • Leave the Ark  11, -1, -455 and take the portal  121, 1, 66 into Gerion: Dominion of Pain (Solo).
  • Place 3 more cimmerott runic wards:
    • Northern Feeding Pits overlook  332, 1, 26; Gallows of Damnation  337, 11, 370; Pier of Judgment  498, 12, 285.
  • Return to Lady Najena in Yon Gorroth (Dominion exit  504, 13, 291, then the Yon Gorroth portal  2, 0, 113).

Runes before the named. If you run The Wraithguard Connection here, destroy the runes around the outer edge of the stage  1, -1, -565 first, then kill the fourth named, Xelha Nevagon. (Void Energy Farmer runs in parallel.)

Rune a God Thing

Start: Lady Najena  562, 94, -681

  • Enter Gerion, Hold of D'Lere via the Rift  564, 94, -694.
  • Use the spinning teleport near Najena  -119, 1, -68 to enter Gerion: Rage of Cthurath [Signature].
  • Find Lucan D'Lere's throne room: clear the room (the teleport spindle activates), then take the Teleport to Throne Room portal  -119, 1, -68.
  • On Najena's cue, place the final cimmerott runic ward  -71, 969, 0.
  • Face Lucan and defeat the Manifestation of The Consumer:
    • Clear the room before engaging (attacking him pulls the room). He goes invulnerable and drains power.
    • When Najena says "Get behind the stone I summoned!" hide behind the summoned stone until it's destroyed.
    • When a portal spawns add waves, kill them all to re-engage him, then repeat.
  • Speak with Lucan D'Lere, then with Lady Najena.

The UnknownFinale

Wrest of the Unknown

Start: Lady Najena in Gerion: Rage of Cthurath  -79, 993, 31

  • Enter The Unknown via the Void Obelisk in Yon Gorroth  -648, 2, 443 (Kith can teleport you). Confront the Rage of Cthurath.

Reward: completes the signature line - the Rage of Destiny achievement and the Arnaut the Scribe reward, plus a class Ancient spell scroll from the Netherwrought Scroll Case. (In The Unknown, the side-quest Breaking the Unknown Restraints unlocks flight here.)

Current frontier: Rage of Cthurath is the newest signature line (Dec 2025) - there is no successor expansion yet. After the finale, the side-quest Breaking the Unknown Restraints opens flight in The Unknown for the cleanup.
