Before You Begin

A short signature spine - but it leans on the wider Vesspyr Isles timeline and ends in a full raid, so plan the gates up front.

Side-timeline gate at quest 1. Lord Yelinak won't advance until you've run four Vesspyr Isles armor quests: Droumlund Intruders (Lepethida), Family Ties (Fraka Dar), The Purity of Growth (Wuoshi) and Deceiver's Fate (Darathar). Quests 3–4 also require Meditation and Annihilation (Jortreva, Karak Peak). Run the timeline first and these clear themselves.

The finale is a raid event. Age's End: Shattered Fate (Skyshrine Tower) is an Epic Kerafyrm ring-event - either bring a raid as intended, or return heavily over-geared. Everything before it is solo-friendly.

Tears of Veeshan: The Eternal Broodlands

Start: Tevan Brassgear, Qeynos Capitol District 717, -19, 178 (good)  ·  Blaira Va'Tyrn, Freeport docks -211, -56, 32 (evil)

The dragon dead stir in a realm out of time. Seek out the resurrected Lord Yelinak in the Vesspyr Isles and learn what the Awakened army has set in motion.

  • Speak to Al'Kabor of The Duality (via Tevan / Blaira), then your alignment guide: good → Kurista in The Elddar Grove  676, -16, -253; evil → Elguka the Oracle outside The Temple of War  -112, -8, -130.
  • Use the Draconic Sigil at the Obol Plains druid ring  -433, 27, 441, then step through the summoned portal to Vesspyr Isles.
  • Speak with Drinal's Steward at the Vesspyr dragon circle  -128, 214, 350, then Lord Yelinak in Daarspire  76, 219, 109.
  • Run the Vesspyr Isles timeline until Yelinak will continue - he requires Droumlund Intruders, Family Ties, The Purity of Growth and Deceiver's Fate complete. Then re-hail him.
  • Travel to Chymot on Karak-ta  -76, 30, -491, defeat 3 Awakened skystalkers, speak to Chymot again, and report back to Yelinak.
  • Meet Chymot at the lower tower entrance  181, 154, -83, enter The Nexus Core (Advanced Solo / Heroic), slay Luminox Prime, and activate the core.
  • Return to Yelinak the Ancient in Daarspire  76, 219, 109.

High Keep · Karak Peak

Tears of Veeshan: Shattered Dreams

Start: Yelinak the Ancient, Daarspire  80, 220, 110

The pickclaw goblins have stolen something the dead still need. Drinal's Steward asks you to recover the lost spirits from deep within High Keep.

  • Talk to Drinal's Steward at the Daarspire druid ring  -129, 214, 349.
  • Enter High Keep (Advanced Solo / Heroic) on Karak Peak  -317, 166, -581:
    • Capture 6 escaped goblin spirits from the Pickclaw mobs.
    • Capture the spirit of Raknag on the McCabe Archive level  -60, -76, 87.
  • Enter High Keep: The Pickclaw Depths:
    • Capture 6 more escaped goblin spirits.
    • Capture the spirit of Stompus.
  • Return to Drinal's Steward.
  • Speak with Zal'Urid in Cardin Ward, Obol Plains  -316, 15, 10.

Tears of Veeshan: The Core Problem

Start: Zal'Urid, Obol Plains  -316, 15, 10  ·  needs Family Ties complete

The shattered Nexus Core can be rebuilt - but its shards and beating heart are scattered through the shissar temples of Sothshae.

  • Speak with Zal'Urid near The Nexus Core  284, 157, -195, then Chymot outside the lower tower  177, 154, -85.
  • Get Vizzeren's Arcanum Vision Elixir from Vizzeren in Falinpol  15, 195, 2, and drink it before zoning so you can see the shards.
  • Collect the Nexus Core shards:
    • From Izshrash'Khar: Stratum of the Protectors (behind the Imperial Construct).
    • From Ssrez'Ras: Chamber of Stasis - jump into the red pool where Ziskaya stands, click the shard  -109, -18, 7.
  • Return the shards to Zal'Urid, then find Chymot on Veiled Thessk  -900, -50, 18.
  • Retrieve the Nexus Core Heart from The Fractured Hive by slaying Queen Meacidaris; return it to Zal'Urid.
  • Give Zal'Urid Crusader Jortreva's Healing Scale (reward from Meditation and Annihilation), defeat 2 Awakened etherhunters, and speak to Chymot.

Temple of Veeshan · The Nexus Core

Tears of Veeshan: Falling Tears

Start: Chymot, lower tower  177, 154, -85  ·  needs Meditation and Annihilation

With the core restored, you can finally strike at the stolen Tears themselves - but the Awakened mean to seize them first, and a Commander stands in the way.

  • Speak to Yelinak the Ancient  78, 219, 101, then take an Icon of the Awakened (from Droumlund Intruders, or a new one from Lepethida in Falinpol  111, 209, -11) to enter the Temple of Veeshan.
  • Destroy the Tear in the final room of Temple of Veeshan: Halls of the Betrayer  1730, 117, -70, then return to Zal'Urid outside the Nexus Core.
  • Let Zal'Urid repair the core (he needs Jortreva's Healing Scale), then enter The Nexus Core: The Shattered Heart and replace the broken core at center.
  • Right-click the core to summon Lendindara the Keeper and speak with her.
  • Destroy the three Tears before the Awakened seize them:
    • Smash the East then West Tears and rush back to center before the side platforms drop. (Each Tear grants a powerful buff that vanishes when destroyed - sequence them by which buff you can spare.)
    • The third Tear is held by Commander Raklish up the North arm.
  • For Raklish: reactivate a downed air bot, lure him over it to stun him, then repair and power down the column - only kill him once the column is down (killing his Epic form resets the script).
  • Return to Yelinak the Ancient in Daarspire.

Script lock. In the Shattered Heart, ensure each far door has closed before you kill the bots or you'll be trapped, and never kill Commander Raklish while his Epic buff is up.

Tower of Frozen Shadow · Great Divide

Age's End: Final Monolith

Start: The Duality, Freeport docks  -211, -56, 27 / Qeynos Harbor  867, -25, 54

To understand the magic that bends time, the Duality sends you chasing a sample of Mayong Mistmoore's power - into the Tower of Frozen Shadow and the vampire lord's own research hall.

  • Enter Tower of Frozen Shadow: Cursed Vaults in Great Divide (take the bird to Icy Fingers). Note: this is not an Advanced-Solo zone.
  • Click the mirror, ascend a floor, and speak to Librarian Emiida; then defeat 12 hate-filled tomes and speak to her again.
  • Enter the Arcane Archives near  -134, 51, -94, round Zorglim, and click the globe  15, 555, -46.
  • Slay the spirit of Cara Omica, click the globe again, then kill Zorglim the Departed.
  • Report to The Duality, then zone through the portal behind them into the Research Hall of Mayong Mistmoore.
  • Kill vampires and loot the 6 Runes (Ayr, Hex, Myr, Teir, Wen, Yal - watch for green shinies) to open the door  -53, 0, 30, click the stone tablet  -71, -1, 46, and speak with Mayong Mistmoore.
  • Return to The Duality to finish.

Reward: coin · AA xp - opens the second Age's End chapter.

Vigilant Sanctum · Cobalt Scar

Age's End: Pieces Assembled

Start: The Duality, Freeport docks  -211, -56, 27 / Qeynos Harbor  867, -25, 54

The pieces of the prophecy come together at Yelinak's Fall, where Firiona Vie and the great dragon Lendiniara wait with the truth of the coming age.

  • Take the portal near the Duality to the Vigilant Sanctum and speak with the Duality within  527, 130, -65.
  • Examine the Shissar Calendar on the big stone behind the Duality, then speak to them again (a flash of light sends you onward).
  • Enter Cobalt Scar and climb to Yelinak's Fall in the far southwest mountains  5376, -686, 1491.
  • Approach Firiona Vie beside Lendiniara  24, 1, -18 and speak with Lendiniara.
  • Defeat 8 drakes that spawn, then speak with Lendiniara and Jorlak.
  • Return to your home city's monarch - Lucan D'Lere at Overlord's Plaza  11, -19, 10 (Freeport) or Queen Antonia Bayle  490, 5, -23 (Qeynos) - and examine the Skyshrine Tower Rune Stone to begin the finale.

Age's End: Shattered Fate

Start: examine the Skyshrine Tower Rune Stone  ·  lost it? Re-buy from the Shady Swashbuckler XVIII on the Nektulos Forest docks

The age turns on a single battle. Kerafyrm the Awakened looms over Skyshrine Tower, and only the reforged Swords of Destiny - the Qeynos Claymore and Soulfire - can end it.

  • Use the Rune Stone to summon the portal to Skyshrine Tower: Age's End and enter (raid-wide zone-in).
  • Speak with Jorlak, then the Overlord and Queen Antonia, then Jorlak again - hailing him starts the ring event.
  • Destroy the 3 shield-generating crystals in the east, north and west pavilions - avoid whichever pavilion Kerafyrm is breathing on, or it kills you.
  • Return to Jorlak (auto-updates), then kill Roehn Theer - pick up Firiona Vie's Lifegiver Staff and stop hitting at ~10% health to trigger the next phase.
  • Drop the staff buff, take the Swords of Destiny, then kill General Velryyn; speak to Firiona Vie and Roehn Theer.
  • Roehn Theer empowers his foci with the Tear and turns on Kerafyrm. Speak to Jorlak, gather the two swords by the Tear, and return them: the Qeynos Claymore to Antonia, Soulfire to the Overlord.
  • Speak with Firiona Vie to close the age.

Reward: The Activated Shissar Calendar (house item) · 25 Draconic Etyma · your choice of the Hoop of Relentless Victory or Hoop of Undeterred Excellence.

Up next: with Kerafyrm turned aside and the Swords of Destiny restored, the dragon war gives way to Altar of Malice - the next expansion carries the level cap to 100 and the story to the Obulus Frontier.
