Svarni Expanse

Time in Kamapor

Start: Priestess Sayana, Kamapor  62, 11, 491

  • Gather offering components underwater off Kamapor:
    • 10 alabaster shells - small white shells with a bubble shimmer, around  138, -5, 479  345, -35, 505  362, -33, 453
    • 6 golden seaweed strands - around  170, -8, 364  215, -19, 498  264, -31, 482
  • Return to Priestess Sayana, then place the offering at the Prexus altar  63, 11, 496 (click its base, just behind her).
  • Speak with Oracle Priti  54, 11, 508, then Kasyapa  48, 11, 496 (he then follows you).
  • Explore the Rolling Hills of Karda to find an unconscious Kyv  -251, 67, 93, then kill 3 sandrock lizards around him.
  • Speak with Kasyapa, then examine the healing Kyv.
  • Return to Kamapor and see Healer Jaanti  26, 12, 410 for a Sandrock Antivenin Potion.
    • You must have finished Head Over Heals first, and harvest a few items for Jaanti.
    • Right-click the antivenin onto the Kyv, then right-click to pick him up.
  • Return to Healer Jaanti, then speak with Oracle Priti.

Reward: ~2g coin · choice of a Kamapor crossbow / bow / fan / wand.

Svarni Expanse

Keeping Secrets

Start: Oracle Priti, Kamapor  54, 11, 508

  • Light incense on Needlehead Isle at any of  16, 39, -810  30, 44, -836.
  • Slay the mysterious vampire that spawns, then return to Oracle Priti.
  • Speak with Dahsuvak  69, 12, 373 and Kavuri  151, 6, 413, then report back to Oracle Priti.
  • Finish the sub-line, then acquire the Holy Icon of Srlaka from Vikram at Camp Naradasa  -644, 88, -515.
    • Requires Small Plunder → Mystery of Camp Naradasa (from Captain Douglan Wakerunner), then I Believe Icon Purify before Vikram hands it over.
  • Return to Oracle Priti.

Reward: ~2g coin · Holy Icon of Srlaka Reliquary (house item).

Svarni Expanse → Castle Vacrul

Into the Keep

Start: Oracle Priti, Kamapor  54, 11, 508

Your first look inside Castle Vacrul - and your first glimpse of the powers feuding over it.

  • Search the Rolling Hills of Karda for signs of Primordial Malice; click the Malice Conjured Portal  -575, 161, 249.
  • Enter the portal and defeat Tserrina's goons in Castle Vacrul: Confrontation.
    • Clear all the mobs to drop the vampiric barrier on the left, then follow the left wall, killing as you go.
  • Witness the Mayong Mistmoore / Tserrina Syl'Tor conversation, triggered at  -125, -44, 422.
  • Return to Oracle Priti, then speak to High Oracle Akshara  67, 12, 513.

Reward: ~2g coin · Critical Thinking · flight capability.

Karuupa Jungle

Welcome to the Jungle

Start: High Oracle Akshara, Kamapor  67, 12, 513  ·  travel: hail a plumedrake keeper  -34, 53, 553 (on the hill above/behind the big waterwheel)

  • Speak with Chief Zubbluggib  502, 145, -605.
  • Place 4 wards around the Karuupa camp:
    • eastern-most watch tower  451, 89, -432
    • south-east watch tower  504, 89, -493
    • southern-most watch tower  693, 105, -294
    • south-west watch tower  640, 95, -359
  • Return to Chief Zubbluggib.

Reward: ~2g coin · Kinnahma Protection Ward (house item) · flight unlocked in Svarni Expanse.

Karuupa Jungle

Pygmy Problems Aplenty

Start: Chief Zubbluggib  502, 145, -605

  • Search Deino Shores for the missing hunting party  234, 6, 629; speak to Strug  236, 6, 632.
  • Search Savage Slough / Dedraka Village  -535, 38, 158 for the captured Karuupa  -618, 125, -16.
  • Free 6 captured hunters with Dedraka Shackle Keys - small wooden-chest drops off Dedraka mobs (not guaranteed; one no-trade key per pygmy, each freed pygmy is a group-wide update).
  • Return to Strug, then search for Zaag: find his pack  -123, 3, -227 and follow the feather trail NE  -252, 76, -509.
  • Find Zaag in Dead Dedraka Vale  -332, 105, -620; examine his body, then slay the Libant vampire that spawns.
  • Return to Chief Zubbluggib (fast way: evac to the zone-in and head uphill).

Reward: ~2g coin · choice of a Kamapor necklace / cestus / bladed orbs / buckler / tower shield.

Karuupa Jungle · Instance

Evil Dedraka

Start: Chief Zubbluggib  502, 145, -605  ·  instance: Dedraka's Descent [Solo]  -231, 109, -692

  • Do the sub-line first: Locust Commotions → … → Bona Fide Treasure Seeker, or you must run the instance twice. (Bona Fide can be done inside, alongside the sig.)
  • Enter Karuupa Jungle: Dedraka's Descent [Solo] and clear the named in order:
    • Zaag the Unburied  -310, 105, -629 - click the corruption that spawns behind him  -293, 105, -614.
    • Scarfeather (Epic x3)  -415, 115, -422 - pull him to the bubbles in front of a grazing ceredon to knock him down.
    • Krelburn  -480, 124, -289 - keep him away from the blazing drake flies (they buff him); dodge the black seed-vine spots.
    • Do NOT kill Cannibrea - leave him up for the Bona Fide Treasure Seeker side quest (same zone).
  • After Krelburn, climb the vines behind him  -511, 133, -264, cross and descend  -588, 175, -54, then speak to Vaziri  -644, 117, 115.
  • Click the Corruption Source  -644, 118, 123 - guarded by Elder Gromekus (Epic 2x) with adds Ponshudu and Olipna - then hail Vaziri.
  • Leave the dungeon; talk to Vaziri at Shaman Bawiggi's hut  730, 168, -399 and hail him to start the ceremony.
  • Return to Chief Zubbluggib.

Mahngavi Wastes

Wastes Not, Want Not

Start: Chief Zubbluggib  502, 145, -605

  • Speak with Vaziri  729, 167, -401, then travel to Mahngavi Wastes: entrance from Karuupa  -883, 234, -792, take the pathway  -828, 220, -765.
  • Speak to Dhusala  18, 99, 569 and finish her sub-quests: Wards To Live By, My Scroll To Take, Sweet Spell of Success; then speak to her again.
  • Gather vampire-trap components:
    • 8 muted sunstones from graveland bandits in Warpwood Cairnlands  52, 109, 371 (not guaranteed)
    • 12 necrofazed blood from necrofazed brutes / wildlings  247, 105, 156  139, 112, 341
  • Return to Dhusala, then set the snare at the SE corner of Forlorn Cemetery  -182, 104, 689 and run circles around it until it triggers.
  • Interrogate the trapped vampire, Tavian Faust, then return to Dhusala.

Mahngavi Wastes · Instance

Handle with Scare

Start: Dhusala  18, 99, 569

  • Speak with Plibiik  2, 95, 580 and take the Muramite Emerald.
  • Enter Mahngavi Wastes: Phantasmal Shades [Solo]  639, 48, -449 and clear it.
    • After the final named Esmerelda Everghast, speak with Ballentree's ghost minion Devorra  -546, 21, -413.
  • Enter Akashic Neverthere: Ballentree Repository (forced solo)  373, 111, -32:
    • Recover Tavian Faust's stolen memory (random blue shiny on the ground).
    • Obtain the Golden Skull  -208, 21, 170 (inside the building).
  • Exit and bury the golden skull in the Mahngavi cemetery - upturned dirt with a gold sparkle, e.g.  -37, 97, 583  -72, 96, 673.
  • Return the memory to Tavian Faust  -184, 104, 687, then speak with Dhusala.

  • Enter Forlorn Gist from Mahngavi Wastes - click the gate to update  604, 143, 543.
  • Find the villager Marjeta Vasilescu  -309, 14, 97 and speak to her.
  • Return to Mahngavi Wastes and collect 26 Trusik Artifacts:
    • 13 clay pots around Ghastly Fate Point & the Spires  -202, 102, 65 (near the forgotten watchers)
    • 13 vases on Shattered Monolith Cay  -315, 45, -729 or Accursed Chantry Island  -653, 26, -466
  • Return to Marjeta Vasilescu, then seek Kurtis Scarson of the Ahroun werewolf pack  -493, 2, -179.
    • You must have completed his quests Altar Access Quest and V Fur Vendetta; he then gives you the Ahroun Pack Pelt.
  • Seek Mayong's elite Libant guard, Tavian Faust  -138, 19, 365.

Forlorn Gist

A Smashing Success

Start: Tavian Faust, Forlorn Gist  -139, 19, 366

  • Gather 12 Discordant Suffused Rubble on Shattered Monolith Cay, Mahngavi Wastes  -119, 6, -687.
  • Return to Tavian Faust, then buy a Crone-cast Focal Gem from Corpseolynne  -339, 14, 126.
    • She only sells after you do her Components for Corpseolynne's Concoction and Price of Information quests.
  • Return to Tavian Faust for the Discordant Pummeler Animating Scroll.
  • Destroy 3 Vacrul Barrier Ward Totems in Acrid Loft and across the bridge in Somber Acre  -97, 0, 162  -183, 49, 150  -157, 51, 198.
  • Return to Tavian Faust.

Forlorn Gist → Castle Vacrul

Vacrul Intentions

Start: Tavian Faust, Forlorn Gist  -139, 19, 366

Two solo instances - infiltrate the castle in disguise. Pick up Arqa Elharroun's quests  -378, 15, 55 first: So Jar So Good (Rosy Reverie) and No Guts, No Gory (Caverns of the Forsaken). Use the Ahroun Pack Disguise to unlock entry (don't have Mystic Moppet active).

  • Enter Castle Vacrul: Rosy Reverie [Solo]  442, 110, 271 and explore - a Libant vampire breaks your disguise around  65, -1, -7. Defeat all encounters, then talk to Tavian Faust.
  • Enter Castle Vacrul: Caverns of the Forsaken [Solo] at the same spot:
    • Gather an allelopath blightsnail to lift the weedwhip curse  -265, -83, 317 - don't skip, or Vishra won't appear.
    • The quest updates when you find Vishra in The Craw  5, -58, 162 (confirm your journal says you've "seen" him).
    • Leave The Craw  4, -58, 145 and progress to Cruor Keep  -83, -45, 35.
    • Slay Lysander Mistmoore, then speak to Marjeta Vasilescu  -107, -46, 0 (spawns on his death).
  • Kill Vorigan Mistmoore, then return to Tavian Faust.

Castle Vacrul · Climax

Eyes on Vacrul Throne

Start: Tavian Faust, Forlorn Gist  -139, 19, 366

  • Enter the quest version of Castle Vacrul: Throne of the Ydal - not the mission version, or it won't update - and fight through the dungeon.
  • Enter Mayong's Ydal Throne Room  448, 110, 257 and find out whether Mistmoore has the Ewer of Sul'Dae.
    • Defeat Mayong Mistmoore (per step 5 of the zone walkthrough).
    • A second player on the same sig step may join; if duoing, both must drop mercs (the zone admits only 1–2 bodies).
  • Return to Tavian Faust.

Svarni Expanse · Wrap-upFinale

News Far and Wide

Start: Tavian Faust, Forlorn Gist  -139, 19, 366

Report the vision back to Norrath - and unlock the dropped-quest, shiny and red-book content of the four overland zones (via the follow-up Heck of a Ghoul Time).

  • Return to High Oracle Akshara in Svarni Expanse  67, 12, 513.
  • Report to your faction leader: Queen Cristanos in Neriak  -577, 32, -192 or Antonia Bayle in Qeynos Castle - pick the "Vetrovia Report" instance of the throne room.
